Job Summary

Write queries and create reports to improve the quality and value of care delivered to patients. Provide analytic support to measure clinical process and outcome measures related to disease, clinical processes, care pathways, and population health. Manage and validate large data sets to answer meaningful questions for providers and patients. Maintain Epic Certification and proficiency in reporting tools within the first year of hire. Requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, health informatics, or related subject, with three years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, decision support tools, or management of complex databases and analytics.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, information technology, health informatics, public health, or related subject
  • Epic Certification
  • proficiency in reporting tools
  • 3 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, decision support tools or management of complex databases and analytics
  • Proven experience creating, managing, and validating large data sets

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree computer science, mathematics, statistics, information technology, health informatics, public health, or related subject
  • 3 years of recent SQL programming: skills should include some combination: Snowflake, SQL Server 2012, Data Warehouse design, Oracle SQL
  • Experience with reporting data out of Epic Clarity and/or Chronicles databases
  • Experience with Tableau and Power BI data visualization software
  • Experience and familiarity with statistical analysis methodologies, modeling, and hypothesis testing
