Clinical Informatics Nurse

Job Summary
Provide in-person support for caregivers regarding the use and adoption of existing and new clinical technologies, offering direction, consultation, and issue escalation. Serve as the central point of contact for the Nursing Institute to ensure continuity between technology rollouts and professional nursing practice. Facilitate decision-making with stakeholders by engaging in brainstorming sessions and driving innovation within an agile design culture. Continually identify knowledge gaps and trends to address them through caregiver remediation and support, validating workflows and training staff on clinical systems. Own project accountability through timely communication and personal engagement while participating in digital project teams to enhance clinical outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized course of study from an accredited School of Nursing
- BSN Preferred
- RN State of Florida
- Three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or major medical center
- Experience in an acute care setting
- Evidence of clinical information systems use and implementation
- Experience with implementation of clinical systems in the hospital and/or ambulatory clinical setting
- Previous experience with clinical leadership
- Ability to sit and be stationary for prolonged periods of time
- Normal or corrected vision
- Manual dexterity sufficient to perform work on a personal computer
- Ability to walk to various locations throughout the campus
- Ability to function in a stressful environment
- Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force frequently
- Ability to exert a negligible amount of force constantly
- Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required
