Job Summary
Design and continuously improve Cerner builds by collaborating with physicians, nurses, and IT teams to assess, scope, and implement system enhancements. Establish clinical workflows across provider, nursing, and ancillary staff while providing first and second-level support to end-users. Troubleshoot application errors, manage testing and go-lives, and maintain system protocols through updated procedures and user documentation. Monitor key performance indicators and track project progress to resolve issues and drive change initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree
- Degree in related field
- 2 years Experience
- experience to include implementation, testing, and on-going support of clinical application(s)
- 1 year Health Care Information Technology (HCIT) consulting work experience
- Must have clinical workflow experience
- Self-starter with ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive change initiatives
- Strong presentation skills to executives and chief clinicians
- Fire Life Safety Training (LA City)
- Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date
Desired Qualifications
- Cerner experience highly desired
- Experience as a Licensed Clinical worker or Health Care worker a plus
