Job Summary
Serve as the primary clinical resource for EMR support, troubleshooting, and workflow guidance. Assist clinicians with EMR-related questions, issues, best practices, and documentation standards. Collaborate with leadership on EMR optimization, enhancement projects, and testing activities. Monitor system utilization, develop training programs, and deliver education to new and existing staff. Build relationships across departments to ensure successful technology implementation and provide day-to-day support for clinical applications and mobile devices. Manage onboarding and offboarding activities, including account setup and user orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Social Worker, or other licensed healthcare professional
- Minimum of three years of hospice, home health, or healthcare experience
- Experience using electronic medical records
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Informatics, Education, or related field
- Experience with hospice EMR systems (e.g., Netsmart, WellSky, Homecare Homebase)
- Previous training, education, quality, compliance, or leadership experience
- Experience in clinical informatics or process improvement
- Strong understanding of hospice clinical operations and regulatory requirements
- Working knowledge of EMR systems and clinical documentation workflows
- Excellent presentation, training, and communication skills
- Ability to teach and support staff with varying levels of technical expertise
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Skilled in process improvement and workflow analysis
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools
- Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization
