Clinical Informatics Analyst

Job Summary
Assist with planning, developing, and delivering Epic training for providers, nurses, and clinical staff while providing at-the-elbow support for staff learning workflows and tools. Troubleshoot Epic issues, escalate complex problems to the Clinical Informatics Specialist or IT team, and participate in creating training materials, quick reference guides, and orientation packets. Help collect and analyze data to identify workflow inefficiencies, assist in developing new Epic modules, and support clinical teams with report generation and visualization requests. Communicate clearly across 25+ departments in a fast-paced critical access hospital environment to translate clinical needs into practical informatics solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Prior healthcare experience
- Clinical background
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment
- Meticulous with a commitment to accuracy and quality
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing, Health Information Management, Informatics, or related field
- Clinical background
- Familiarity with Epic or other electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication, teaching, and people skills
