Job Summary
Analyze and plan implementations of new EPIC functionality, providing oversight and management of assigned projects from beginning to end. Perform technical review of optimization requests to assess workflow impact while collaborating with vendors to resolve issues. Provide training for new hires and existing staff on EPIC functionality, ensuring HIT strategies meet patient care needs through stakeholder collaboration. Remain proficient in company-specific applications supported by the Clinical Informatics Department.
Required Qualifications
- BS Clinical Degree or equivalent e.g. Nursing, Pharmacist, Respiratory, PT/OT, Radiology, etc.
- Valid clinical license required for clinical informaticist
- EPIC Proficient or Credentialed within one year of hire
- Two years experience in clinic setting using computerized EMR
- Located in or able to commute to the Omaha area
Desired Qualifications
- EPIC Proficient or Credentialed
- Informatics training and experience working with EMR
- Masters' Degree in Cumputer science, MIS, Nursing, Informatics, Health admin, or related field
- Project Management Professional Certification
