Job Summary
Conduct individualized training for patients and families to safely perform in-home dialysis, followed by home visits to support the transition to self-care. Provide direct patient care, perform basic hemodialysis techniques, monitor vascular access, and maintain dialysis equipment and water treatment systems. Draw blood samples, prepare them for transport, and perform simple and complex laboratory tests with required quality controls. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs while participating in quality improvement activities. Approximately 90% of duties are campus-based with less than 10% involving home visits. Candidates must have a clean driving record and be comfortable managing care in both clinical and home settings.
