Job Summary
Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist for adults in day program and residential settings. Provides communication and feeding assessments, screenings, interventions, and services to individuals over 21 per OPWDD guidelines and ASHA standards; trains staff on communication programs and safe feeding protocols; completes required documentation; participates in meetings; collaborates with professionals, staff, and families; supervision by state-licensed ASHA-certified SLP; CF hours and supervision requirements to be met; frequent opportunities for professional development and growth within Brightway Living & Learning. Location in Smithtown, NY with on-site responsibilities; full-time, 8am-4pm schedule; benefits include medical/dental/vision, life insurance, FSA, EAP, 403(b), tuition reimbursement, PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Completion of all graduate internships and clinical hours
- New York State Driver’s License
- CF Incorporations: Must work at least 36 weeks and 1,260 hours to meet the ASHA CF experience requirement
- Must meet with your clinical supervisor weekly
