Clinical Faculty Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate orientation and training for clinical faculty regarding their site and nursing coursework while identifying, selecting, and evaluating all clinical adjunct faculty and sites. Serve as the first point of contact for resolving personnel issues between clinical sites, faculty, and students, and verify student and faculty compliance with attendance and makeup policies. Act as a mentor to new adjunct faculty, establish alignment of clinical experiences with program outcomes, and may assume teaching responsibilities in lab or clinical courses. This role supports the Mercer University ABSN program at Orbis Education's Atlanta site, fostering partnerships to expand pre-licensure healthcare programs and produce high-quality graduates.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing
- Unencumbered GA RN License
- Two years combined teaching experience as a preceptor, adjunct clinical instructor, or classroom/lab
- Able to meet challenges of adult learners with diverse backgrounds
- Self-directed and innovative
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to build strong working relationships, communicate on a variety of educational levels and work effectively in a team
- Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm with flexibility for clinical site visits
- Employment is contingent upon the satisfactory outcome (as determined by the organization) of pre-employment screening activities, including a background check
