Job Summary
Demonstrate AI-powered clinical documentation improvement solutions to prospective clients, translating complex CDI concepts into clear business impact for healthcare leaders. Collaborate with Customer Success to refine documentation workflows and design educational curricula that ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines and payer standards. Communicate directly with client CDI leaders to address concerns and maximize platform benefits for revenue integrity and quality metrics. This fully remote role supports SmarterDx's mission to help hospitals recover earned revenue through clinically validated AI.
Required Qualifications
- MD, RN, or another relevant clinical credential
- Deep familiarity with ICD-10, HCC coding, Medicare guidelines, and payer documentation requirements
- Proven ability to engage with prospects and clients, translating clinical concepts into business impact
- You can distill complex CDI topics into clear, compelling messaging for both clinical and non-clinical audiences
- You're excited about the role AI can play in transforming CDI and revenue cycle management
- This role is fully remote within the US
Desired Qualifications
- CDI Experience: 5+ years in clinical documentation improvement leadership, hospital CDI, HIM, and/or RCM programs
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret healthcare data and trends
