Job Summary
Field-based senior clinical engagement lead driving investigator and site relationships across a multi-state US territory. Lead site identification, feasibility assessments, protocol discussions, site initiation, enrollment support, and ongoing engagement. Collaborate with Medical Affairs MSLs to align scientific engagement; represent the company at clinical meetings and site visits; develop and execute site engagement strategies to improve study startup, enrollment, retention, and site satisfaction. Maintain field intelligence for Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams; support patient identification and recruitment with investigators and site staff; ensure compliance with GCP/ICH/FDA; travel extensively and work flexible hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in scientific or related discipline
- Advanced degree (MS or MPH) preferred
- 8+ years of experience in clinical development, clinical research, clinical operations, or a field-based clinical engagement role
- Demonstrated experience managing investigator relationships and supporting clinical trial site activation and enrollment
- Experience in immunology, inflammation, or related therapeutic area preferred
- Experience collaborating with CROs, investigative sites, and field medical teams including MSL partnerships
- Strong knowledge of immunology and inflammation, clinical trial design considerations, and competitive landscape in I&I
- Expertise in clinical trial site management and investigator engagement (feasibility, identification, qualification, initiation, enrollment)
- Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and FDA regulations governing investigator interactions and field-based activities
- Self-directed field professional capable of managing a multi-state territory with minimal supervision
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle; valid US driver's license
- Ability to travel ~50%+ and occasional overnight stays
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends for physician/patient events
- Proven relationship-building with investigators and site staff
- Proactive field intelligence contributor capable of turning observations into actionable insights
