Clinical Educator: Simulation and Certification Coordinator

Collaborate with department directors and nursing staff to identify unit-specific educational needs and prevent redundancies in training efforts. Facilitate orientation programs for new employees and provide ongoing coaching to preceptors while assessing formal and informal educational requirements. Demonstrate teaching capabilities using adult learning principles to deliver in-service and continuing education, then evaluate learning objectives and submit accreditation documentation. Act as a clinical resource for staff regarding policies, protocols, and best evidence, incorporating research findings into the development of clinical practice guidelines. Participate indirectly in patient care delivery and support the development of hospital and department policies according to patient needs.
