Job Summary
The Clinical Educator will facilitate learning and staff development, utilizing assessment and evaluation strategies while participating in curriculum design. Responsibilities include managing the Critical Care Unit, acting as liaison between Hospital Administration and staff, and serving as Nurse Administrator on-call as necessary. Requires a minimum of three years clinical experience, a current Illinois Nursing License, and strong communication skills. Preferred candidates will also have educational and supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Current Illinois Nursing License
- Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification
- Must maintain All unit specific certifications
- At least three years previous experience in clinical unit
- Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health care team
- Excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing or Education
- Prior Educator experience
- One to three years management and/or supervisory experience
