Job Summary
Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and competency validation for Medical Assistants and designated clinical support staff. Develop and maintain competency frameworks, skills checklists, training materials, and EHR workflow documentation. Provide clinical skills education in patient rooming, medication administration, specimen collection, infection prevention, and documentation standards. Partner with operational, clinical, risk, and quality leaders to address skill gaps, conduct audits, and support workforce development initiatives. Prepare education reports and training compliance summaries. Requires four years of nursing experience, an Alaska RN or LPN license, current BLS certification, and bilingual skills.
Required Qualifications
- Four years of progressively responsible nursing experience
- Experience preferably in primary care, ambulatory care, community health, or population health setting
- Two years experience in adult learning
- Experience working within a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensed and in good standing in the State of Alaska
- Current BLS certification
