Job Summary
Conduct clinical call reviews, investigations, and quality assurance investigations within 72 hours of reporting protocol violations. Lead Field Training Officers by managing selection, monitoring, and developing guidelines for the FTO program. Develop orientation and continuing education programs including ACLS/PALS/CPR/EMT skills, while assisting in recruitment through EMS classes and career days. Evaluate patient care reports, review Medicare/Medicaid billing statistics, and participate in appeals processes from a clinical perspective. Assist in creating medical policies, designing utilization management plans, and resolving clinical aspects of problem resolution. Represent the Manager of Clinical and Education Services across Western Kansas operations in Liberal, WaKeeney/Trego County, Osborne, and Lindsborg, with on-site work at various AMR Operations and travel as required. Obtain instructor certification within six months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years experience in the direct delivery of pre-hospital care
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Field Training Officer
- Current Paramedic certification
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS Instructor certification
- Instructor certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire
