Job Summary
Prepare clinical skills rooms and maintain equipment and supplies to ensure a safe, well-organized learning environment for students and faculty. Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of CTEN mid-fidelity mannequins, human patient simulators, partial task trainers, medical equipment, and specialized simulation software. Provide technical consultation, training, and support for learning technology tools within nursing skills and simulation labs. Analyze, test, and resolve issues regarding learning technologies while collecting and disseminating data to identify instructional program needs. Assist faculty with development programs and contribute to designing engaging, effective learning experiences across face-to-face, blended, and online mediums. Maintain and calibrate skills lab equipment according to established policies and procedures. Provide basic training and technical support to learners in classrooms, labs, clinics, and distance learning settings. Work on a compassionate, collaborative team within the 5,000-square-foot CTEN space supporting hands-on nursing education.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in a healthcare environment (e.g., professional work experience as a CNA, EMT, Paramedic, RN, LPN, Medical Assistant, or similar)
- Experience organizing supplies, managing inventory, or supporting daily operations in a clinical, laboratory, or technical environment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds up to 5 feet or at least eye-level
- H.S. diploma
- Ability to learn new computer technology

- Experience supporting or working with audiovisual and/or simulation technology
