Job Summary
Support nursing skills and simulation labs by preparing clinical skills rooms, maintaining equipment and supplies, and ensuring a safe, well-organized learning environment. Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of CTEN mannequins, human patient simulators, partial task trainers, medical equipment, and simulation software. Provide basic training and technical support to learners in classrooms, labs, clinics, and distance-learning contexts; calibrate and set up equipment per policies; assist with designing engaging learning experiences (facial-to-face, blended, and/or online); support faculty development and engagement programs; help identify instructional needs and improve effectiveness through data collection and resource acquisition; troubleshoot learning technologies and provide technical/logistical consultation for nursing skills and simulation labs. This full-time, in-person role operates at UW-Madison’s School of Nursing, with HIPAA considerations and potential evening/weekend hours based on operational needs.
