Job Summary
Clinical Education Specialist coordinates training for all home health employees in accordance with Medicare/State guidelines and teaches and develops training programs for licensed staff, supervisors, and staff implementing new programs; assists with HCHB/Point of Care training, corporate QA audits, and special projects; travel to local offices as needed and ensures compliance with regulations and confidentiality while maintaining performance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Healthcare Administration, Business, or Marketing preferred)
- 3 years in the home health field
- Registered Nurse licensed in the state in which practicing
- Driver’s license and proof of current auto liability insurance; no listing in the OIG Excluded Provider listing
- Certified Home Care and Hospice Executive; Licensed physician or Registered Nurse, licensed social worker, licensed therapist or licensed nursing home administrator
- Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance required
