Job Summary
Oversee Clinical and Education Services activities for the local service area, representing AMR to local committees, medical institutions, and agencies. Create, implement, and track education programs while conducting orientation classes, IV certification courses, ACLS/PALS instructor certification, and CPR/AED training. Lead Field Training Officers by monitoring the program, developing guidelines, and coordinating the committee. Conduct clinical call reviews, quality assurance investigations within 72 hours, and track employee certifications and vaccinations. Assist in recruitment through EMS classes and career days, develop lesson plans, and work with physician advisory groups to integrate internship needs. Full-Time Exempt; Merced, CA; $95,000 - $105,000/annual.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- BTLS Provider or Instructor certification
- ACLS Instructor certification
- PALS Instructor certification
- Current State Certification as a Paramedic
- Acceptable driving record
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the direct delivery of pre-hospital advanced life support as a Paramedic
- Applicable State Instructor/Coordinator certification
- Experience in performing, evaluating, instructing, and coaching all aspects of the delivery of pre-hospital care
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Basic knowledge of computers and Windows software
- Basic knowledge of Continuous Quality Improvement concepts and principles
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
