Job Summary
The Clinical Education Faculty plays a vital role in the development, integration, and instruction of the clinical curriculum at Alice L. Walton School of Medicine. Responsibilities include designing and coordinating an innovative curriculum involving evidence-based approaches to teaching, direct student instruction, and assessment of student performance. The position also requires collaboration with faculty in delivering the ARCHES curriculum and maintaining high standards of educational quality. Candidates should possess an M.D or D.O degree and relevant clinical practice experience, with a preference for demonstrated expertise in medical education and curriculum development.
Required Qualifications
- M.D or D.O degree
- Current or prior clinical practice as a physician within the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Greater than two (2) years of experience in an accredited undergraduate medical education or post graduate level education programs
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in medical education, including curriculum development
- Experience designing, delivering, and evaluating integrated clinical education courses
- Familiarity with an array of educational technologies and active learning methodologies
- Experience with different assessment methods
- Experience with different adult learning methods (e.g. CBL, PBL, TBL, small-groups, simulation)
