Job Summary
Clinical Education-EMR Support Specialist responsible for initial and ongoing training of clinic end-users on the EMR system, developing and updating training programs and materials for various clinical roles, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for EMR functionalities, collaborating with clinical leadership and IT to identify system enhancements, monitoring training effectiveness and user adoption, and serving as a liaison between clinical users and technical teams to communicate issues and support system upgrades or changes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a health care setting utilizing an electronic medical record (EMR)
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare documentation standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and support diverse clinical staff
- Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues related to EMR software
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- LPN or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
- Certification in Health Informatics or EMR system-specific training certifications
- Experience in clinical education or training roles within healthcare settings
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and clinical compliance standards
- Knowledge of data analytics related to EMR usage and clinical outcomes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
