Job Summary
Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist (RN) responsible for overseeing HNF documentation, reviewing resident charts, assessments, and care plans to ensure accuracy and compliance with state guidelines. Collaborates with nursing staff, therapy, social services, and business office to gather information; audits charts for missing or inconsistent data; educates staff on proper documentation practices; and communicates acuity levels with Managed Care Organizations per state regulations. On-site role in Albuquerque, NM with variable compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing
- Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience
- Minimum two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing with supervisory capacity (preferred: BSN)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
