Job Summary
Oversee TRS Therapy Services (Nest program) including hiring, supervision, evaluation, scheduling, and corrective action of paid personnel. Ensure staff meet ethical standards and provide clinical and administrative supervision of the clinical department. Develop systems for prompt intake, patient rehabilitation referrals, and oversight of administrative and billing processes from intake through client discharge. Provide clinical training to staff and interns, conduct case staffing sessions, and offer supervisory crisis coverage. Sign off EMR notes to ensure insurance payment and appropriate clinical documentation. Collaborate with leadership on federal grants, IHS contracts, and contract negotiations. Represent Tewa Roots Society at community meetings and Tribal Council sessions. Regularly review program offerings to address service gaps for Medicaid, Nambe Pueblo, and Native clients in the Tewa region. Maintain documentation compliance and provide individual, family, and group therapy as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, or Professional Counseling
- Independently licensed in the state of New Mexico, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT with a supervisor designation
- Five or more years of supervisory experience working in a mental health, substance use disorder, or dual diagnosis program and skilled in training, coaching, and mentoring multidisciplinary staff
- Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule in accordance with client and program needs
- Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, verbal, presentation, and written (also with the ability to meet required standards of documentation)
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred ten years of experience in mental health treatment, substance abuse treatment, or related social services experience
- Preferred experience working with Native American populations
- Preference given to Native American applicants
- Preference given to LCSW applicants
