Job Summary
Lead and oversee residential programs (24/7 clusters, Group Homes, PSH, HUD, Supportive, and Supervised programs) with staffing and contractual accountability, ensuring high-quality, client-centered, trauma-informed services for individuals with severe mental illness and co-occurring substance use. Supervise program managers, coordinate 24/7 scheduling, develop efficient workflows, ensure HMIS/CES/HUD documentation, participate in CoC meetings, manage housing location, landlord relations, and Medicaid billing optimization. Drive program development, align with grant funding requirements, ensure CARF/state/local compliance, train and coach staff, provide on-call coverage, and engage with internal/external stakeholders to meet organizational goals. Maintain high bed utilization and lead focus groups/trainings on topics related to residential services and serving clients in need.
Required Qualifications
- Masters’ Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or health related field
- LPHA (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker etc) in Illinois required
- Minimum four years’ experience working with people with mental illness and/or substance abuse diagnoses
- Minimum two years of demonstrated supervisory/leadership experience
- Valid Illinois driver’s license with daily access to a well-maintained vehicle with $100,000/$300,000 liability insurance
- Experience leading large teams/programs situated in multiple locations and 24/7 programs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Contract and grants management skills preferred
