Job Summary
Clinical Director responsible for the development, implementation, and supervision of all clinical services within a residential/outpatient addiction treatment program. Lead a team of primary therapists, case managers, and clinical support staff; advance the clinical curriculum incorporating CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care; ensure regulatory readiness and licensing compliance (CARF, Joint Commission, state boards); conduct clinical audits and provide supervision for licensure-track staff; collaborate with Medical Directors, Nursing, and Admissions to maintain a seamless continuum of care. Must hold a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field and an active Ohio clinical license (LPCC-S, LISW-S, or LIMHP) with supervisor designation preferred; 3–5 years of clinical experience in SUD/mental health and at least 2 years of leadership experience. Skills include knowledge of ASAM criteria, HIPAA, and residential/outpatient treatment models.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field
- Active, independent clinical license in Ohio (e.g., LPCC-S, LISW-S, or LIMHP)
- Supervisor designation strongly preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in substance use disorder or mental health treatment
- At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
- Strong understanding of ASAM criteria, HIPAA regulations, and residential and outpatient treatment models
