Job Summary
Oversee psychological services for inmates at Graceville Correctional Facility. Reports administratively to the health services administrator and receives clinical oversight from the psychiatrist. Supervises mental health professionals; plans and implements professional psychological service programs of a non-medical nature in the facility; ensures ACA standards and FDOC/DMS directives are met; coordinates activities to provide psychology services to inmates; develops and promotes quality assurance indicators; conducts utilization reviews and analyzes data for quality improvement; communicates with administration, staff, inmates, and outside agencies; requires doctoral-level psychology training, state licensure, and 5 years of clinical experience (including 2 in a comparable role).
Required Qualifications
- advanced degree in psychology
- licensure/certification from the state of Florida
- five years clinical experience (two in a comparable position)
- current CPR certification
- valid Florida driver’s license with acceptable driving record
