Job Summary
Provide clinical leadership and oversee all rehabilitation services while maintaining an active patient caseload. Supervise and mentor Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, and support staff to ensure evidence-based, patient-centered care and optimal functional outcomes. Monitor clinic productivity, quality metrics, and operational performance; oversee scheduling, staffing, workflow, and resource utilization. Recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate clinical team members while ensuring compliance with state practice acts, Medicare regulations, HIPAA, and accreditation standards. Partner with regional leadership to achieve financial and quality goals, foster relationships with referring providers, and lead quality improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate documentation and support business development to promote clinic growth.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Arizona Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Minimum of 3–5 years of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience
- Strong knowledge of outpatient rehabilitation operations and clinical best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Desired Qualifications
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience
- Board Certification (OCS or other ABPTS specialty certification)
- Experience managing clinic operations, budgeting, and staff performance
- Demonstrated success improving patient outcomes and clinic performance metrics
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives and operational efficiency
