Job Summary
Provide clinical supervision, training, and direction to assigned staff and Social Work interns for an 820 residential model. Co-lead case conferences, weekly communication meetings, and other staff business meetings while monitoring goal attainment and program productivity. Conduct chart audits to ensure client record keeping complies with agency, city, state, and federal requirements. Monitor Utilization Review and authorizations to ensure clinical assessments meet MCO standards. Provide individual and group counseling for clients and facilitate group sessions in accordance with treatment plans. Cover an assigned caseload of up to 10 cases in the absence of a clinician. Assist in the Continuing Quality Improvement process and actively participate on the Performance Improvement Committee.
Required Qualifications
- LCSW or LMHC
- Minimum of 3 years of direct clinical supervision experience treating substance abuse disorders
- Expertise in evidence-based practices
- SIFI certification
- Ability to supervise and provide clinical guidance to staff and interns
- Familiarity with regulations from OASAS and Medicaid
- Ability to multitask and handle challenging situations in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information
- Must be organized, self-motivated, a team player, and computer literate
