Job Summary
Clinical Director (LCSW or LMHC) in Brooklyn leads programmatic behavioral health services within the Transitional Housing department. Responsibilities include supervising a multi-disciplinary team (Social Service Supervisors, Case Managers, Client Care Coordinators), providing clinical supervision, coaching and staff development, overseeing housing-process operations, implementing Evidence Based Practices (EBP), Trauma Informed Care (TIC), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Critical Time Intervention (CTI); conducting audits to ensure OTDA/DHS/Win standards compliance; establishing community linkages for medical, mental health, substance abuse, and child welfare services; conducting outreach and partnership activities; coordinating care for high-risk clients; and preparing program reports with Program Director. Must ascend/descend stairs, escort clients to appointments, and work evenings/weekends/holidays as needed. Qualifications include current NYS LCSW or LMHC license and supervisory experience, with strong communication, crisis intervention knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Current NYS LCSW or LMHC license
- three (3) years of supervisory experience
- Demonstrated experience facilitating groups and developing curricula
- Experience with individuals with mental illness and substance abuse, preferably with homeless families
