Job Summary
Model and train staff in Positive Behavior Support methodology while serving on Interdisciplinary Teams for behavioral issues. Conduct functional analyses and provide direct behavioral treatment including crisis de-escalation, social skills training, and group or individual sessions. Manage Behavior Plan assessments, design, monitoring, and reporting, and complete new assessments for incoming youth. Provide direct supervision to clinic assistants and schedulers, fulfill BCBA supervision hours across locations, and participate in an on-call rotation for challenging behaviors. Track key performance indicators and report staffing needs to the State Director to ensure hiring requirements are met.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Three to five years of Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) experience
- Doctoral or master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related discipline
- Ability to record/enter data neatly, accurately, and objectively
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to individuals and other employees of the organization
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to make independent decisions with good judgment and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to clinic location periodically
- Must be a BCBA
