Job Summary
The Clinical Director at an outpatient SUD clinic is responsible for overseeing clinical staff and ensuring quality care in substance use disorder treatment, including compliance with regulatory standards and staff development.
Required Qualifications
- Clinical oversight experience
- Experience providing supervision and training to clinical staff
- Familiarity with compliance standards from Maryland Behavioral Health Administration (BHA), COMAR, and CARF
- Ability to conduct internal audits and risk management assessments
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of addiction, trauma, chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, domestic violence, and sexually exploited minors
- Highly skilled at supervising individual and family therapy and engaging caregivers in treatment
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with foster care and child welfare systems and services, community mental health, and/or community psychology models
- Competent in working with psychological issues related to race, ethnicity, and class
