Job Summary
Clinical Dietitian (PRN) provides day-shift nutrition support and education in both ambulatory and hospital settings for all age groups, delivering family-centered nutrition care within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include clinical nutrition assessment, planning, education, and support, as well as preparation of meals and specialized formula as part of comprehensive nutrition care. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field, RD/RDN certification, Texas licensure within 90 days, and relevant certifications within 90 days. Bilingual Spanish is highly preferred; prior experience in clinical nutrition and pediatric settings is expected. Must be able to work in a hospital setting in Corpus Christi, TX, and hold a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field (ACEND accredited program)
- Current Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist certification (CDR)
- State licensure by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation within 90 days of hire
- Food Manager’s Certification or Food Safety Certification within 90 days of hire
- Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of hire
- Valid unrestricted driver’s license
