Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nutritional processes for individual patient care across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations in Intensive Care, Stepdown, Medical, Surgical, and Emergency areas, as well as outpatient settings. Modify and deliver care specific to the behaviors and needs of patients while determining progress toward nutrition goals through professional relationships with patients and families. Deliver nutrition care according to the philosophy, policies, and goals of the Nutrition Department at NorthBay Healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian
- assess, plans, implements, and evaluates nutritional processes for individual patient care
- determinations regarding the progress of the patient toward nutrition goals
- utilizes a professional relationship with the patient and family to facilitate those goals
- modifies and delivers care specific to the specific behaviors/needs of the pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient
- nutrition care of patients in Intensive Care, Stepdown, Medical, Surgical, and Emergency areas
- various outpatient areas within the system
