Job Summary
Develop and implement nutritional care plans based on resident assessments, while monitoring and documenting nutritional status for Continuing Care, Home Health, and Hospice residents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide counseling, educate on dietary plans, and oversee food production systems, sanitation, and menu compliance with regulatory standards. Conduct Quality Assurance audits, maintain confidentiality, and ensure all services comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Contribute to the supervision, training, and evaluation of dining services staff. Requires a Licensed Dietitian and Registered Dietitian with experience in health care food service management, with a flexible schedule available for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Located in Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Dietitian
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration

- Experience in health care food service management

- Knowledge of and ability to utilize clinical and administrative dietetics
- Issues in persons with terminal illness
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
