Job Summary

Provide nutritional education to ESRD patients and conduct nutritional assessments on all required patients, placing results in medical records. Screen patients for nutritional problems based on age and disease process, while assessing the nutritional status of chronic dialysis patients throughout their life cycles. Adapt treatment techniques to the specific age of patients served and demonstrate the ability to interpret data relative to patient demographics. Deliver in-service training in diet therapy and patient care as needed, communicating appropriately with patients and visitors of various ages. This full-time, direct-hire role includes a Monday through Friday day shift with a shared weekend call rotation. The position offers current licensure in Georgia as a Dietitian/Nutritionist and requires a B.S. or Master's degree in Dietetics or Food and Nutrition.

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in Dietetics or Food and Nutrition from an accredited university if graduated before 2024
  • Master's Degree from an accredited university if graduated after 2024
  • Current Licensure in Georgia as a Dietitian/Nutritionist
  • Current knowledge of nutrition therapy

Desired Qualifications

  • A minimum of one to two years' experience in clinical/oncology dietetics in a health care facility
  • Working knowledge of CBORD and overall diet office functions
