Job Summary
The Clinical Dietitian provides comprehensive nutritional assessments, diet counseling for all patient demographics, and ensures the implementation of appropriate diet plans under the direction of the Food and Nutrition Service Management. The role includes mentoring interns, attending health meetings, and actively participating in performance improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- BLS certification required within 3 months of hire
- 75 CEU’s every five years to maintain CDR
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a dietitian preferred
- Knowledgeable in current diet therapy practices
- Familiar with food service systems operations
- Supervisory experience desirable
- Membership to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics encouraged
