Job Summary
As a Clinical Dietitian, you'll deliver evidence-based nutrition support for pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings at Driscoll Children’s Hospital. Responsibilities include performing nutrition assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating closely with medical teams to enhance child health through nutrition.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in nutrition or related field from an ACEND-accredited program
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through CDR
- Texas state licensure (or within 90 days of hire)
- Food Safety and BLS certifications (or within 90 days of hire)
- Valid driver’s license
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Master's degree or specialty certification (e.g., CSP, CSPCC, RDN-AP)
- Experience in specialized pediatric programs (e.g., NICU, oncology, feeding disorders)
Additional Requirements
- Must obtain Texas state licensure within 90 days of hire if not already licensed
- Requires successful completion of the Registered Dietitian certification exam for new graduates
