Job Summary

Develop effective territory planning and strategies with the Territory Business Leader to meet and exceed goals. Execute clinical selling strategies within assigned accounts by assessing referrals for product use and certifying healthcare providers for training. Facilitate product education, including virtual webinars and impactful demonstrations, to drive adoption of the twiist Automated Insulin Delivery System. Manage leads in the customer relations database daily and submit required documentation. Maintain high visibility with patient advocacy groups and professional diabetes organizations. For the Senior role, mentor junior staff, assist with field sales training, and lead weekly team calls. Travel across West Baltimore and Western Maryland, including overnight trips, to support these initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid professional license in one or more of the following fields: RN, RD, PA, NP, Pharmacist
  • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification required
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating and conducting diabetes education
  • 4+ years of clinical diabetes education experience
  • Experience coordinating and conducting diabetes device education in the medical device industry
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to carry and transport professional samples and literature
  • Ability to commute and spend extended periods of time driving each day, which may include overnight travel
  • Demonstrated history of high performance in previous roles
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to respond to questions from patients and healthcare providers in real time
  • Strong data analysis, evaluation and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of diabetes products and therapies
  • Candidate must live within the assigned geography
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Demonstrated history of top-tier success (top 25%) and meeting clinical metrics the medical device industry
  • Served in developmental and leadership roles such as field sales trainer, mentor new of hires, field advisory board/marketing or clinical input committee programs
  • Experience representing organization at industry conferences/conventions (i.e. ADA, ADCES)
  • Demonstrated career progression/promotions into roles with increased responsibility
  • Strategic problem solver
  • Demonstrated success in sales, or in partnership with sales (P-Club, COE)
  • Must be able to lift specific weights
  • Some travelling is expected
  • May work extended hours during peak business cycles

Desired Qualifications

  • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating and conducting diabetes education with strong experience in the technical use of diabetes technology preferred
  • Experience coordinating and conducting diabetes device education in the medical device industry preferred
