Job Summary
Clinical Development Specialist (EP) in Germany region Central/East drives market adoption of Abbott electrophysiology technologies, provides primary technical support to physicians and nurses during EP procedures, and delivers targeted training programs for healthcare professionals and internal teams. Key responsibilities include onboarding new centers/physicians, supporting trials and product evaluations, coordinating with sales on strategic account initiatives, delivering education that aligns with central strategies, contributing to marketing initiatives and launches, gathering market insights and competitive data, and producing concise reports to inform Sales & Marketing decisions. The role requires hands-on technical and clinical support in EP procedures, collaboration with field engineers, and active participation in Train-the-Trainer concepts while traveling across the region and maintaining effective local execution of central strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Education in scientific, medical or technical field; Bachelor or Master degree preferred but not a must
- Medical background or Qualification as Medizinprodukteberater (according to MPG) is a plus
- In-depth experience in a EP technical role, ideally 5+ years
- Familiarity with Cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol
- Fluent in German and English
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Strong Cardiac Anatomy & Phys physiology knowledge
