Job Summary

Deliver safe, effective, and independent nursing care using the nursing process, performing thorough patient assessments and developing individualized care plans that incorporate patient and family input. Document care accurately in electronic and physical records while identifying learning needs and recognizing cultural differences to personalize treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, delegate appropriately, and function in a developing leadership role, including Charge Nurse responsibilities when assigned. Identify needs for policy revisions based on evidence-based research, collect and analyze data to improve patient care, and participate in surveys to resolve areas for improvement. Maintain required points and contact hours per the clinical lattice PLAN system.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years
  • Recent completion of a re-entry nursing program
  • Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience within the past five years
  • Valid, unencumbered Registered Nursing License approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing
  • BLS certification
  • Active compact/multistate license (eNLC) within 60 days of hire (if completing virtual care activities that may include multi-state practice)
  • 36-75 lbs lifting capability (0-33% of the work day)
  • 20-35 lbs lifting capability (34-66% of the workday)
  • 10-20 lbs lifting capability (67-100% of the workday)
  • Lifting 75 lbs max
  • Carrying of objects up to 35 lbs
  • Occasional to frequent standing & walking
  • Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing)
  • Ability to work in environments with Blood-borne pathogen exposure
  • Ability to work in environments with Bio-hazardous waste
  • Ability to work in environments with Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors
  • Ability to work in environments with Communicable diseases
  • Ability to work in environments with Electrical shock
  • Ability to work in environments with Floor Surfaces
  • Ability to work in environments with Hot/Cold Temperatures
  • Ability to work in environments with Indoor/Outdoor conditions
  • Ability to work in environments with Latex
  • Ability to work in environments with Lighting
  • Ability to work in environments with Patient care/handling injuries
  • Ability to work in environments with Radiation
  • Ability to work in environments with Shift work
  • Ability to work in environments with Travel
