Job Summary
Lead Clinical Country and Site Lead (CCSL) in Canada to drive local clinical trial execution and sponsor oversight. Responsible for managing investigator and site relationships, leading country- and site-selection activities, ensuring ICH/GCP and local regulatory compliance, and coordinating with Clinical Monitoring leads, CROs, and FSPs within an outsourced model. Provide country-level strategic input to global operational plans, monitor trial progress, and serve as primary contact for strategic development and sponsor oversight activities. Travel 20-25% as needed. Requires deep clinical research expertise, strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and fluency in English. Salary range $127,000-$169,750 with incentives and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of clinical research experience
- Experience managing clinical trial activities, particularly in an outsourced model with CROs
- Strong understanding of cross-functional drug development and scientific knowledge across therapeutic areas
- Familiarity with ICH/GCP guidelines and applicable country regulations
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Effective knowledge of IT tools for virtual teamwork
- Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English
- University degree with a scientific background; advanced degree preferred
