Job Summary
Develop and maintain partnerships with clinical sites to facilitate student placements and coordinate rotations aligned with program objectives. Evaluate potential sites for educational standards, assign students based on individual needs, and monitor progress through collaboration with preceptors and faculty. Serve as the primary liaison to relay clinical information, resolve student or site issues, and organize orientation sessions. Develop policies for clinical education components, compile outcome data for continuous improvement, and prepare reports for accreditation and program reviews. Maintain accurate documentation of agreements and evaluations while supporting faculty in student supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered RN licensure in the state of FL
- ASN/RN degree or higher
- 3 years of clinical experience
- Experience directing and evaluating student learning and lab performance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clinical sites, students, and faculty
- Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards for nursing education
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical documentation systems
- Competency in data collection and analysis for program evaluation
- Clinical Education Program Planning, Implementation, and Assessment of students, preceptors, and clinical sites
- Ability to assess and adapt to the needs of diverse learning environments
- Ability to coordinate and schedule clinical placements for practical nursing students
- Ability to problem solve, use critical thinking and judgement skills
- Able and willing to: Communicate, think, learn, and reason
- Able and willing to: Use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to process transactions, store documents, enter data, or perform assigned tasks
