Clinical Coordinator

Clinical Site Liaison for nursing education programs responsible for managing practicum experiences and clinical relationships for Practical Nurse and Registered Nurse programs. Must be a Registered Nurse with BSN or higher. Oversees scheduling and coordination of clinical experiences, conducts observational site visits, interfaces with preceptors and facility representatives, and reports events related to clinical experiences. Develops and implements orientation for clinical faculty and students, mentors new clinical instructors through rotations, audits clinical documents, and maintains site contracts. Builds and maintains clinical relationships with Chief Nursing Officers and Directors of Nursing, collaborates with program chairs on planning and evaluating clinical experiences, and coordinates relief coverage in the absence of clinical instructors while ensuring licensure remains current.
