Job Summary
Clinical Coordinator II at West Side Federation for Senior and Supportive Housing oversees supervision of social work, case management and related program staff, provides clinical supervision access, participates in admissions decisions, reviews plans and documentation for quality/compliance, leads team meetings, coordinates staff training, mentors social work interns, supports residents in obtaining medical and mental health services, and contributes to program development and site audits. Requires MSW with supervisory experience and a track record of working with older adults or individuals experiencing homelessness or chronic mental health issues; strong leadership, collaboration, and crisis-intervention skills; capacity to manage documentation, inquiries, and eligibility processes; and the ability to work 9-5, Monday through Friday in New York, NY.
Required Qualifications
- MSW required
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience required
- Minimum of 5+ years working with older adults or people with a history of homelessness, chronic mental health issues or substance abuse required
- Proven ability to build, foster and lead collaborative groups and workshops for social service staff between various programs
