Job Summary
Supervise, mentor, and support nurses and clinical staff in delivering high-quality home health services through direct bedside visits and coaching. Conduct field nursing visits to provide hands-on guidance while reviewing assessments, plans of care, and documentation for accuracy and compliance with Medicare guidelines. Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations, including staffing, workflow, and case assignments, while participating in QA/QAPI initiatives, chart audits, and survey readiness efforts. Serve as a clinical resource for field clinicians managing patient care challenges and help oversee scheduling efficiency and care coordination. Collaborate with intake, billing, HR, and operations teams to ensure timely follow-up on hospitalizations, missed visits, and clinical variances.
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license in good standing
- Active Field RN experience
- Minimum of 2 years of home health clinical experience
Desired Qualifications
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a Medicare-certified home health agency
- Strong understanding of Home Health Conditions of Participation, OASIS, documentation standards, and clinical compliance requirements
- Experience using AI-supported clinical tools, including Oasis and documentation technology
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and lead confidently in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using EMR/documentation systems and standard office technology
