Job Summary
The Clinical Coordinator at Harbor coordinates team coverage for patient services, manages staff schedules, and handles emergency situations professionally. This role includes oversight of clinical work, providing counseling and treatment services for individuals with behavioral health disorders, conducting assessments, and facilitating a unified treatment approach. The position requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and licensure to practice in Ohio, with additional certifications required within specified timeframes. Candidates should have strong teamwork, leadership, and document management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work or a related behavioral/mental health field
- License to practice as a social worker/counselor in Ohio (LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S)
- Obtaining Health Officer certification within 6 months of employment
- CPR/First Aid and NCI/CPI Certifications required within 90 days of employment
- Good documentation, treatment and assessment skills
- Proficient and accurate in computer use, including Microsoft Word
Desired Qualifications
- Licensure in chemical dependency in addition to mental health licensure or proven experience and training in treating substance use disorders
Additional Requirements
- Based on agency and team need, may consider Bachelor’s degree with current LSW and 2 years of supervisory/administrative experience
