Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of clinical experiences for the Nursing Department, managing faculty, students, and clinical agencies. Monitor and evaluate clinical sites, conduct site visits to document outcomes, and resolve issues regarding faculty, students, or placement. Maintain all required documentation for compliance with state, federal, and accreditation guidelines while mentoring clinical faculty and facilitating their orientation. Assist with student clinical placements, conduct on-campus and agency orientations, and teach assigned clinical or laboratory coursework as needed. Collaborate with didactic faculty to ensure theoretical content integrates effectively with practice skills. Maintain 100% compliance with all nursing regulations and support the Career Services Department in graduate placement.
Required Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Compact license that covers Arizona for registered nursing
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Three (3) to five (5) years' experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care
- Maintain 100% compliance with all accreditation guidelines in clinical aspects of the nursing program
- Maintain compliance with all nursing state, Federal, and accreditation guidelines
- Comply with all State, Department of Education, and accreditation regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing (MSN) from an accredited college or university
- License in good standing preferred; The campus state is mandatory
