Job Summary
Clinical Coordinator to oversee clinical education for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program at Missouri Southern State University. Responsibilities include development, coordination, and maintenance of clinical rotation schedules; frequent communication with clinical affiliates, preceptors and site supervisors to monitor student progress and clinical site effectiveness; evaluation of clinical competency and facilitation of student remediation; instructional delivery in didactic, laboratory, and clinical settings; and assisting with preparation of accreditation documents for initial and continuing accreditation of the program.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred
- Active credentials in at least one concentration offered within the program (Abdomen, OB/Gyn, Vascular, Cardiac); multiple credentials preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a registered sonographer
- Documented experience in instruction, supervision, evaluation, and student guidance
- Teaching experience preferred
