Clinical Coordinator - Charge Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Job Summary
Oversee daily dialysis operations by assessing patient needs, administering medications, and supervising direct patient care staff. Manage shift staffing, approve schedule changes, and coordinate assignments while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and facility policies. Lead patient care plan meetings, conduct quality assurance reviews, and train new personnel on dialysis techniques and emergency protocols. Admit new patients, educate families on End Stage Renal Disease, and operate emergency equipment as needed. Collaborate with physicians and the Facility Administrator to address patient care issues and maintain a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.)
- Must be registered and licensed to practice in the applicable State
- Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience
- 6 months of specialized experience providing clinical nursing care to dialysis patients
- Experience in either a chronic or acute setting
- Certified in CPR or successfully complete course in CPR certification
- Good communication skills – verbal and written
- Employees are required to take the Ishihara's Color Blindness test as a condition of employment
- Travel to regional, Business Unit and Corporate meetings may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Medical/surgical nursing preferred
- Supervisory or management experience preferred
