Clinical Coordinator - Charge Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Job Summary
Provide day-to-day guidance and direction to direct patient care staff; participate in department staffing and hiring/firing decisions; ensure compliance with procedures and regulations; manage time and staffing changes; participate in patient care plan meetings; maintain dialysis practices; train and orient staff; supervise direct patient care and adherence to policies; promote OSHA safety; oversee shift operations; coordinate with Facility Administrator; assess patient care needs and allocate assignments; respond in emergencies; supervise equipment use and start-up/shutdown procedures; supervise documentation and QA activities; participate in monthly meetings; travel between facilities as needed; require RN license and CPR certification; focus on patient care quality and staff development.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.)
- Must be registered and licensed to practice in the applicable State.
- Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience, plus 6 months of specialized experience providing clinical nursing care to dialysis patients, in either a chronic or acute setting.
